Opinion essay- Judith raja juanes

These days, violent acts on TV is on the rise and teenagers spend most of their day in front of a screen, so many people believe that violence, among them, has increased.

I disagree with the idea that anyone who watches violence acts on TV will increase their violence. In my opinion, I think that violence is shown in lives experiences, violent acts on TV aren’t the real problem.

If you have had violent experiences in your life, you will probably be more violent.
For instance, a teenager who has been beaten up by his parents, or who has seen violence in his home, he will normalize the violence and repeat it. Although this teenager hasn’t seen violent acts on TV.
On the other hand, a teenager who doesn’t have a problem with violence in the home, but who often sees violence on TV. He won´t be more violent. For instance, this boy who has no problem with violence at home, even if he sees violence on TV, he won't become more violent. This teenager knows this is wrong and if he does, he will be punished because he has had a good education.

Nowadays, social networks really do influence teenagers, but social networks don’t make people more aggressive or violent.
May be, social networks make them more violent because they want to feel superior and social networks helps them show it to the world, but the influence of family and friends is the most important thing. They have the role that we imitate.

To conclude I would like to say that I think that see violent acts on TV its wasn’t make teenagers more violent.
