Opinion Essay- Patricia Totusaus

Nowadays, all teenagers we see violence constantly, as physical or verbal, and it is well known that some of them are directly influenced, but also others are not, that’s the reason why I think that violence that’s shown on television it’s not the responsibility of the increasing the violence in society, more particularly for teenagers.

 In my opinion, I think that some juvenile could be influeted by some TV violence, but not all of them, if we were influenced we would usually have violent attitudes, the one’s whom act usually violently are maybe influenced by TV programs but also could be influenced by others ways. 

Furthermore, I believe that actual TV programs aren’t the problem of teen violence, is the result of amount of facts whose make adolescent be violent. If I am a mother, I won’t censor or prohibit some programs for my children because it’s true that some of them are a little bit hard, but I think that banning things is worse, and through the knowledge you can know the consequences and recognize mistakes.

To sum up, teenagers who are violent aren’t only by TV programs, it’s difficult to include all cases under the same heading but in general I think that programs, movies… are not a threaten to the wellness of adolescents.
