OPINION ESSAY- Erola Fernandez

Many teenagers watch TV programs or movies where appears violence, both physical and verbal, but does it really affect what we see on TV with our behavior? I don’t think so but I think it’s very subjective.

From my point of view, I don’t think we get more violent just for the things we see on TV, movies, series... because if we are enough matures, we’ll know what things are bad and which aren’t. For example, If I watch a movie were I see someone killing another because of a discussion, I wouldn’t kill somebody in real life just for a little fight.

Furthermore, I think that your behavior depends on the education that you received when you were little. Your parents are the ones who gave you the bases of your conduct and then you create your personality according to the experiences that you lived.
In conclusion, we’re old enough to don’t get influenced by violent acts that appear on television or even video games. We know how that violence is bad because we had a good education. I think that violent behavior depends more on the education that you received.
