INFORMAL LETTER - Judith Vegas

Email composition

Hi Amelia,
How are you dealing with the situation? Sorry I haven’t answered you before, but I’ve been busy, you know it.

The only way I can help you with your choice is giving you my opinion, I know for you making decisions is difficult, because you feel a lot of pressure, therefore you should take your time to decide.

I strongly believe  whatever you choose, will be a good way to spend the summer for you, I believe you must do what your heart tells you to do, because you’ve been using your head all the entire year.

Furthermore, in my point of view, I think you have to go see your brother, because you’re always telling me, how much you miss him, and you wish he was by your side because he’s your emotional support , so I feel you must visit him, also you can mange to work as a dance trainer, while you’re studying on college.

In conclusion, take all the time to think what you’ll do, you already know what I think , I hope I’ve helped you, and it’s really important don’t make a decision you might regret.

Be in touch soon, lots of love
Judith

INFORMAL LETTER-Sara García

Hi Amelia, how are you?
Both options are fine. But if I were you, I would choose to go on vacation with my brother, because a year without seeing him is a long time. In addition, the work of dance teacher you can go next summer, I see much more important to see your brother than a job.
This is my opinion and what I would do, if you are eager to do the work you like because you are going to see him at Christmas. But I see it more important to see your brother.
Also, this job you can get at another time, I don't think you have so many opportunities to go away from work to go see him.

Kisses, Sara

INFORMAL LETTER - Alejandro Rodríguez

Redaction Amelia

To begin with, Amelia has to find and feel for herself what is essential in these moments, to clarify possible doubts or confusions.
I will try to help you, but I want you to be clear that I do not want my opinion to influence you. This I say because I personally believe that I can give you advice from my point of view and point of view forever, but it is probably not for you or you prefer for personal matters at the moment.

The first option to go see your brother is a good option, I think he would be very excited and although he  works, you could see him after so long.
Also, a vacation could go very well, since, according to what you have explained to me, these two years have been difficult for you and a good rest could go very well to rest a little.

On the other hand, you have the option of abstaining from a vacation and looking for a job, even if it's difficult,, but it is always better to be responsible and prioritize what is urgent at all times.
For example, I think that working to earn money out of necessity is a priority and in this case it would be a good option And from my point of view, I would recommend not taking a vacation.

In conclusion, Amelia, I think you should think about each negative point and each positive point that each of the two options you mentioned gives you and once you feel what you have to do from the present, decide

Hi Amelia! How you doing?

I'm happy to hear you again about knowing that you are doing well. I have been a little busy this day, so I couldn’t respond you earlier. I know you are asking for my opinion because you are having some controversy about what to do this summer. It seems to me that you are so excited about these two options and you don’t know which one to pick.
It is clear that you love to work as a dance trainer, but you might also love to see your brother, especially because you haven’t seen him in a long time.
Finally, I think that you should choose to work as a dance trainer because it's an activitie that you loves and makes you happy and also you can earn money to visit your brother. But, whatever option you choose it will be positive. You have to enjoy your summer!

See you later!

Ferran.

Informal letter - Melanie Arteaga

Hi Amelia,

How are things? Hope all’s well. It was great to hear from you. Sorry I haven’t written for a
while, but I’ve been really busy these weeks.
You asked and wanted to know about your controversy about two options to spend the
summer.
Well, I agree that you have different options for vacation plans. I think working as a dance
trainer for children sounds great, because it’s an activity that you love. And doing things that
make you happy it does you good for yourself. Personally, going on holidays to Australia to
visit your brother is a good idea, because he is the person who in spite of everything, will
always be by your side because you have shared many memories and grown with him. And he
is working there for a year and I'm sure you miss him a lot.
Anyways, you have to do the most correct, without pressure. You can't miss any of both
opportunities.
By the way, we need to meet soon and you should tell me at the end what you will do.
Looking forward to hearing your news!
Take care,
Melanie

What’s up Amelia.
First of all how are the news going? Are you ok? About me I’m fine, just finishing my final exams like you. So you say that you have to choose between two important options that makes you a problem because you don’t know what choose, well I’m glad you asked me to help you. So let’s see what can I do.

In my opinion this year have been so hard because this level of studies is so high and require a lot of sacrifice cutting off what you love and you like, and I know that you love dancing , and because of this course you couldn’t do it because you was too busy, you must be annoyed. Now it is the time you can relax and stop thinking about studies.

In my point of view you should reconsider go Australia and visit your brother. You don’t see him since last year, I’m sure that he need to stay with you again.

Just for ending, you really should go to Australia, became a dancing trainer can be cool, but I think that visit your brother is a better option.

Write soon!
Love,
Adrià.

Hi Amelia,

Thanks for your letter. I can’t believe how long it’s been since we last met!

Right now, I’m reading your situation and I’ll give you my opinion.

It’s clear that you should spend your summer going to visit your brother. You’re finishing high school, a very stressful year, and I think that you will need to do this travel for relax and enjoy life with your loved ones.

Moreover, don’t worry about your work as a dance trainer, I know you love the work, but you may have other chances.

By the way, I’ve got some amazing news. Do you remember the football team that was interested on me? Well, I’d joined with him and today I’ve my first training. I’m very excited!

Must go now. I don’t want to be late in my first football training!

Lots of love to you and your family. Write soon!

Raúl.

Hi Amelia,

How are you, it’s ages since I heard from you. Sorry I’ve been busy this last trimester.

I’m glad that you asked me about what you should do during your summer holidays. In my opinion it’s a very difficult choice, working as a dance trainer you would be payed for what you like to do, and that’s not easy to find. In the other hand, as you said me it’s been one year from the last time you have seen your brother so may be it is more important for you to go to spend some time with him, furthermore you have the opportunity to spend the holydays in Australia a great country.

It seems to me that you should spend your summer holydays with your brother, however, I’m not who have to choose.

Write soon,

Eloi

Informal Letter - Elena de Paz

Dear Amelia,

How are you? I hope you and your family are well. I'm very glad to be the person you are asking some advice. Personally, I think that going to Australia would be the best option. Just imagine it. A nice trip, give your brother a surprise, incredible beaches and landscapes... you must be anxious about going there. And you could learn English, too! If I were you, I would go without thinking it two times. You know what the idiom says: Boats go through just once, don't miss it...

Anyway, working as a dance teacher might be great for you, too. It is clear to me that you are a dance fanatic, so that may complicate your decision. Even though, I recommend you to do what your heart says to you.

I feel that you will enjoy your summer whatever decision you make.

Best,

Elena

Hi Amelia,

How’s everything going? Sorry I haven’t been in touch for ages, but I’ve been very busy these last weeks!

I see you are already making your summer vacation plans, that’s so exciting! Both options you have told me sound great, but I think you should go to Australia to visit your brother. He’s only going to be there for one year and, in my opinion, there will be a few opportunities to be with him, so you ought to take this opportunity. It may be the only time you will be able to go to such an incredible place! Moreover, I know you love teaching children how to dance, but you have been doing that for the last three years and I believe that doesn’t happens anything if you don’t do it once.

If you finally take my advice and go to Australia, you must send me lots of pictures. I’m sure you’ll have an amazing summer no matter what you finally decide.

Hope you let me know what you choose and don’t forget to say ‘hi’ to your brother for me!
Lots of love,

I hope that everything’s great and I’m very happy to finally hear you. Here everything’s going great,my marks could be better but whatever. I’ve been thinking about your doubts, and personally I think that both options are great, however I advice you to go to visit your brother.

I think that you should visit him because you haven’t seen him for a while, and if you don’t matter about money I advice you to go to Australia, I’m sure that you will be able to learn about Australian culture and it may be great opportunity to see unique  Australian monuments, and of course you will have spend a great time with your missing brother.

I happy that I could help you, if you will choose Australia I hope that those sharks would not eat you haha.

Hi Amelia,

What's up? It's great to hear from you, it's been a while since my last email.

I’m glad to hear that your last year of high school is going so great. Talking about your dilemma, I think that you should go to Australia and spend your holidays there with your brother. I’m sure that he will be happy to see you. But if it is a matter of money, you should consider working as a dance trainer if you are struggling to get money.

It's clear to me that you really miss your brother, that's why I suggest you to visit him if you can afford it. And don’t worry about your job opportunity. Once you’re back, I think you will be able to take it, but probably you’ll never have the opportunity of going to Australia again!

The best of lucks,
Edu

Informal letter- Pau Fontelles

Hey Ameila, what’s up?

Thanks for asking my opinion of what should you do.  I had a similar problem last year. Also in summer, I had to chose if I wanted to be a football trainer for a month, or  going with my to a summer camp (I know that is not the same as going to Australia). My family said that what I should do is being a football trainer and earn some money for the university, and that is what I did. Now I regret not goi g with my friwns to a summer camp, because when they came back they said “if you would have came, you would probably passed the best summer of your live”. So from my opinion, I think that you have to go to Australia, and if you need the money, you can always work in a restaurant some evenings.

I’m grated for your letter, and I hope that my opinion had helped you.
Have a nice summer
Pd: This year I’m going to go to the summer camps with my friends.

Hi Amelia, I have received your email, and I am glad to know that you are still consulting me everything and I have been thinking about it.

PersonallyI think that you should do what you really want, and we both know that you are very excited about working as a dance coach. You may feel the obligation to have to visit your brother. But you have to take advantage of your last teenage summers to enjoy the most, you will have time to visit your brother. In my opinion I think he will understand you.
You can make video calls with him every night to talk to him so you will miss him less.

All in all, I have already told you what I think, but even so I will support you in your decision. I feel that everything will turn out well if you choose to do one thing or the other.

I want to see you, I miss you so much.

Best wishes from your best friend Paula.

Informal Letter - Marc Matute

Hi Amelia!

It’s a pleasure to hear from you again! I’ve been so busy lately, so I couldn’t write any letters.

In my opinion you should go on vacations and get some rest, because it’s clear to me that you have worked so hard to finish your high-school. Also, when you get there, you’ll be able to visit your brother, so it will be a fantastic experience for you!

Otherwise, if you struggle to get money, you must spend the summer working as a dance trainer for children, you love that so If I were you, I wouldn’t miss the opportunity. But if you aren't going to miss any options, you can do a “50/50 summer plan”, I mean, you can spend half of your summer working as a dance trainer and after that, you can go on vacations to Australia.

I hope my plans have been helpful for you, and don’t forget to answer me.

Remember that you have to follow your heart!

Your friend,

Marc

Hi Amelia,

How are you? It’s great to hear from you. I’m glad to know that everything is okay.

You have amazing plans for this summer, I understand your doubts. Personally, I believe you should go to Australia to visit your brother because not everyone can go to Australia, it’s a great opportunity, and I heard that it’s an amazing destination, great beaches, exotic animals, a lot of sun...It will be a great time to relax and disconnect, you deserve it, you worked hard this year and I’m sure you must be tired of high school. Also, you will see you’re brother, it’s been a while since the last time you saw him, it will be great that you spend time with him, you have a very good relation.

Hi Amelia,

How have you been lately? I haven't spoken to you for ages! I've been having an amazing time, hope you too! Let me help you with your options, but whatever I say you should choose the option you most like.

I'm very happy that you have these two incredible options to choose, but if I were you, I would choose the holidays in Australia. I think that not every day you will have the opportunity to travel to Australia, and apart from being a trip that will bring you all kinds of experiences, you can see your brother and spend this vacation with him.

In my opinion working as a dancing trainer can wait. I believe that when you come back you will be able to work as a dancer trainer the time left.

Anyway, I'm sure you are going to have an amazing holidays, so don't think about it too much.

Hi Amelia,

How is it going right there, it has been such a long time since we had spoken, I hope you are well.

Glad to hear that you are going to finish high-school in a while. According to your selections, it is easy for me to say that if I were you I would officially accept working as a dance trainer, I think that your brother might wait, because it's a fact of being conscious with the opportunities that you may have one of thousand times and you are able to get some money.

I know that's difficult not to see your brother, but if you accept a job that they pay you well and you enjoy practising it, it's all said, you can't miss it so I recommend you to be guided by my insctints though.

Anyway, I must go and get on my work, it's been a pleasure to advise you.

Hi Amelia!
How you doing? I heard you are getting very good grades on your last year of high-school, how nice! I'm so proud of you! I just read your last message, I understand your doubts about what you should do on your holiday.
First of all, tell you that no matter what I say you will end up doing what you want, as it has to be, but still I hope my advice will help you.

I think that you could go to Australia before you give the classes. I know you like to do your dance classes, but I feel that going to Australia it's such a great experience and opotunity to do something different and you can also spend time with your brother. I suppouse he'll apreciate that time with you a lot. And you can always give the dance classes when you come back or in another moment.

Personally, I believe that you have to do what you like more. But if I have to decide, you should go to Australia. Since you could go to a dance classes when you want. And the most important thing is that your brother is in Australia.

Informal letter - Iván Giménez Prieto

Hi Amelia,

I’m very glad to receive your message and have  the possibility to make you choose and option for your time in summer holidays. In my opinion, I think both options are good and enjoyable, will be difficult to help you.

I think you should have new experiences and learn more things about our fantastic planet, that's why i recommend you to take a trip in Australia, just think about it, you would learn a lot of things of Australia, its culture, animals, plants, places, etc. Furthermore, you would spend time with your brother!!

However, If you want to work as a dance trainer you can do it at any time of your life, maybe this opportunity to go to Australia in a future you won't be able to have it…

In conclusion, the best option ( for me) is take that trip to Australia and visit your brother, you ought to take a break after those months of high school.

If there’s any doubt don’t forget to text me, i’ll be there for help you any time.

See you soon, good luck!!

Hi Amelia,
How have the family been? Sorry it’s taken me so long to reply, but as you know I’ve been busy due to all the exams high school programmed for this week.
I’m glad to hear that you have those two wonderful options for when you finish high school on June. Both are experiences I’d definitely like to do, because any of them can contribute on your personal growing, but personally I think you should choose the trip to Australia.
In my opinion, family has to be one’s most important priority, because it makes you feel well surrounded, and as his sister, you are supposed to visit your brother, who I’m sure will be very happy to see you. In addition, Australia is one of the nicest and more interesting countries on the world, so you will have a lot of fun and discover many new things.
Anyway, I guess it’s time I got on with that studying I’ve been avoiding. Don’t forget to let me know your decision, and remember that if you don’t take advantage of this chance, you might not see your brother in two years,

Dear Amelia,

It was great to hear from you again. I hope you're well, and I'm sure you will pass high-school perfectly.

I'm so excited about Holidays, I have already decided that I will go on Minnesota, to visit my boyfriend's family. I think we'll stay a couple of weeks, so I will take some souvenirs, but for now, let me give you my advice, of what would I do if I were you.

I know how much you were waiting to go with your family to Australia, but think it for a while, you love dancing, and the kids, they might be so adorable. I really know that this summer-work is perfect for you, you'll love it, and even much better you will receive payment so you can save for future holidays in Australia.

In conclusion, it is clear to me that this would be the better option for you to take, but, the final decision is yours. Take it easy, it isn't a easy decision, but, let me say if I were you I would choose the dancer-trainer job and I will visit my brother on Christmas.

I wish I have helped a little, remember, it's a unique chance, it may not repet never, so, take adventage of it.
I guess it's time I got on with that studying I've been avoiding. We must try and meet up soon, 'cause I miss you so much.

Hi Amelia,
I am very happy to know that you are well and to be able to speak with you. By the way, congratulations for graduating. Well look, from my point of view both options sound great. But of course if you have to choose, it is a bit complicated.

On the one hand, if you find yourself wanting to do your hobby this summer and at the same time earn a little money, which is not bad, I would recommend you stay and be the trainer of that children. Another advantage you have if you stay is that you can also spend this summer with your best friends.

In the other hand, if you prefer to see your brother, that you miss him and you want to see him, I recommend going to Australia, surely you’re going to be the envy of all high. When you go to Australia you are going to meet new places and even new people, without doubt it would be a great summer. Well I hope I have helped you, I know I am not very good at giving advices. In case you go to Australia this summer we have to meet us before you go.
