Nowadays, Television can be a powerful influence in developing behaviour, especially among teenagers. Unfortunately, most of TV programs are violent, most of the people who have researched this topic have discovered that violence on television is one of the factors contributing to the increase of aggressive behavior.

Personally, Television can educate us, help us to entertain and allows people to express their views on a specific topic. If the parents taught what is right and what not, the children would learn more and know how to behave in front of others.

Furthermore, the people who watch a lot of violence on television could attain aggressive behavior. I feel that the way the media portrays certain things, purposely affect people’s emotions. Also, If the parents were more attentive to their children, they wouldn’t be more aggressive.

In conclusion, I think is that just because someone watches a violent movie or plays a violent video games, doesn’t mean that person will go out or act and copy what they have seen or heard. I feel that it differs from each person, but also that it depends on each individual’s cultural influences.
