Nowadays, it is often argued that TV programs promote violence amongst teenagers. For a long time, some people have thought that violence in TV programs can affect negatively their personality, and make them act aggressively. The question we are going to discuss is if this is true or not.
Personally, I believe that every person has their own personality and does not depend on what TV programs they watch. For example, many people read stories about a murder in the newspaper, and they do not kill anybody. Moreover, most programs are educational about wars or they show terrorist attacks, but nobody copies them. In addition, some videogames can promote more violence than TV programs.
However, many people also believe that it does affect them. They believe that if the teenagers see violence they would copy it. Also, some TV programs can affect youngsters traumatizing them. Such as watching violent films and series, and violent news.
To sum up, watching programs does not affect youngsters, although adults who may think the opposite
