Nosedive
is the
first chapter
of
the season three
of the successful series
Black Mirror produced
by the american company Netflix. This serie is a british dystopian
science-fiction
serie created by Charlie Brooker and directed
by
Joe Wright. In this episode our star
is Bracy Dallas Howard playing the role of Lacie.
This
episode deal whith
Lacie,
a
girl ho
works in an office and lives in a seemingly ideal world where any
human interaction, however small, is evaluated on social networks of
one to five stars, and where the obsession to have a good public
image prevails. Her friend from school Naomi (Alicia Eve) is very
well positioned in the social elite, and Lacie is desperate to join
her in
her wedding, because
ther
is a lot of people whith high rate and thus be able to have a higher
rate,
so
if
she
can’t
have a higher rate she wouldn’t be able to buy
the appartment that she wants.
But something unfortunately happens.
On
my point
of view
I
really like this episode because I think that this image that the
episode wants to transfer us is how are we in the social networks. We
can see how Lacie get desesperate when she saw her rate get down, is
the same when some people get
stressed when they recives
less likes in their post in instagram or less comentares.
I
don’t have any negative comment. I
only have to say that I
liked so much the script and the plot was brilliant.
I
would recomend this episode to people ho likes to watch series set in
the future. Or people ho likes discover new thinks to whatch.
