Personal Biography - Lluís Bas

Ten years ago, when I was 6, I met Jackson. He is a good friend of my parents and our families
go together to Valencia every summer since I have memory. I love being with them.

A few months ago, he told me that he was born in a poor family of Ohio. When he finished the
school, his parents were very proud of him because he was the first of his class. Unfortunately,
when he was at the 3 rd year of career, his mother was killed by his father due to a discussion
and Jackson fell into a big depression.

At that moment he dropped out of university and decided to remake his life by travelling to
India. When he was there, he used to live a lot of things working in an NGO and he had very
intriguing adventures. Six years later, he met his wife Maria and they decided to live in her
hometown; Girona.

Nowadays, Jackson has gained a reputation thanks to some of his missions in Open Arms, Save
the children and UNICEF.

Although his life problems, he has become a role model for me because he is an amazing
person who dedicate his live to others.
